I took out a loan from Nedbank about 4 months ago and for the last 2 months I receive sms's 2 days before my agreed debit date that my payment is due. My agreed debit date is the 20th but my payments are deducted every month on the 19th immediately when I am paid. I do not appreciate this because if anything should happen and I am paid late 1 day I will be held responsible when it was not even my fault. I have another upsetting query because the loan I took was a consolidation loan. On the specific day the loan was approved I was told to go to Absa to get a settlement letter as Nedbank consolidates all loans for you. I had thought the loan was closed and settled because this is what was promised to me. Yet I am still having deductions taken from Absa and my statements still reflect an outstanding amount. So this means that you did not make the correct settlement and the loan was not closed. I had such good comments about Nedbank but this has changed my whole mindset. I logged a complaint last week and to this day no one has contacted me in any way.
