We took out a policy 20 years ago with Old mutual which was linked to our bond. It states distinctly on the policy document a guaranteed amoount of 140 000 rands wil be paid out on maturity... it did not state approx amount but guaranteed payout. Now when its time to pay out Old Mutual says only 100 000 wil be paid out. Is this legal.
