I lodged a claim for my front left bumper and left exterior mirror.
The mirror was missed on the 1st assessment and now after the 2nd assessment it is concluded that they cannot be done on the same claim.
This I think is just a ruse not to honour their policy and repair my vehicle as I suspect the damage comes to more than R5000 and then I have to pay no excess.
But if you make it 2 separate incidents then each incident is less than R5000 and for my pocket.
Also they don't even have the decency to send me a copy of the assessments done, so they can pretty much tell me what they want over the phone.
I've been with Virgin Money Insurance since 2010 and have to say this is utterly disgusting and I feel unethical, but I guess that's how they do business.
Seen to many people with the same issue
Ultimately, I am bearing the brunt for the incompetence of the 1st assessment.
