Following my previous last post, I still await the deregistration of my car. Today I received an email from the insurer asking me to contact Absa. Now I am not sure how to go about this!
My car was written off in January after an accident. My insurer settled the car loan in February following the write off. To date Absa has not returned the car licensing documents to the insurer. As a result, I am still receiving license renewal notices as the car is still registered under my name. Between the insurer and Absa I don't know who is not coming to the party. All I know is that I am affected by this long drawn out process!
