I have logged a credit card dispute with standard bank 22 March 2013 (reference-32865862) after i received a call from debt collector DMC. I paid straight to my credit card as the amount was reflecting and thought it was paid up. The moment i asked standard-bank to send the settlement letter that's when things turn sour. I was communicating to Samatha Ontong but even today there's no response. Since DMC said that they are investigating as well but none of the companies came back to me.
My concern is on the 17-12-2013 i got a call from Vertex Solution said that i owe R50 000 from standard bank loan that was granted on the 01-05-2011 by that time i was not working and there's no way the banks can approve my loan as i was blacklisted and couldn't find a job due to blacklisting.
I only get their marketing emails and sms, why they didn't call me as they have my details. All i need from Standardbank is my credit card letter specifying the account is paid and closed.. they must communicate to their clients if there's outstanding amounts as they do when they market their products before rushing to sell the debts to debt collectors.
