Diners club contacted me to open as a diners club card, the sales lady specifically said that it is a monthly fee of R50 and the card can be cancelled any time, with this in mind I opened the account. When my first invoice arrived an amount of R600 was owed. This is a yearly account fee and not a monthly fee as per the sales person. This is ridiculous since it is false marketing. I have paid the account and is closing the account immediately. They got R600 out of me for nothing and I am almost sure there is no chance for a refund.
