MISREPRESANTATION OF INFORMATION

I went to STD Bank Mega City to try and sort out the debits on my account that I did not know. I spoke to an Indian Lady, whose name I can not remeber. She advised me to go to the cubicle next to her and open another account as my problem was common. I did as advised. When my salary started going into my new account I went back to STD Bank Mega City to ask them to close the old account. That is when i was told i was not suppose to open the new account as I had an overdraft on the old one; and it was impossible to link the two accounts. I feel very bad now as i already have a revolving credit with STD Bank; and now I'm told to start paying towards the overdraft on my old account. As is I'm battling with my finances. I really can not afford paying towards my overdraft. I really do not know what to do. Please help me!
