Holding for 20mins and counting

I called 0861404040 to confirm if my Personal Loan was collected from my account successfully.
The lady that answered asked for my ID number twice and then put me on hold waiting for the information to pull through.
After a while she was back and asked for me to spell my surname. I did and she mentioned a surname different to mine. She said that she is still looking and put me on hold.
It has been 20minutes and I am still holding.
"How can we help you? " Employ call centre staff that is competent and have basic soft skills over the phone. If you are going to put me on hold for 20mins please inform me as I too have a job I need to do within a spesific time frame.
VERY unhappy!
