How can we NOT help you

On Thursday 12 December, l contacted card division to request a settlement ant, which was given to me. I asked how to go about obtaining a new card etc. I was informed that on settlement, I just had to call back, my acct would be checked and if the account was settled, my card would be reinstated with same limits, I would just have to have a new card ordered. Since my credit limit was quite high and I had just enough money to settle my card, I did just that. However when I called the call centre back, I was informed that my card could not be reinstated and that I must apply for credit from scratch. I knew that I wouldn't be approved. Since then I have spoken to at least 6 other consultants who have told me the same thing. On Friday out of sheer desperation, I spoke to a "manager" and explained that as a result of incorrect information given to me, my card was settled but that I now have no money until January. He told me that he would try and reverse the payment, which was never done. I have had to go through the long weekend with 3 children and no money. And since up to now, no management have bothered getting back to me to help. Fnb and feel nothing 4 their clients
