Early this morning my account was debitted, working in a call centre i understand all to well how the December paydate works, so i replied when i recieved a sms requesting that i update my December paydate, i called in and really this was the first time that i have ever experienced not being assisted by a company, i requested a refund and was told it would take 7 days, seven days to get a R131.00 back, really now? i ended up informing them to keep the premium, i wanted to cancell the policy but obviosly having paid it for 3 years and cancelling wouldnt be a bright move and thats where Sanlam thinks they can get away with deducting clients accounts early because people wont cancel their policies having paid it so long, this is not a idle treat if it happens again i will definitly take my business else where with a company that values their good clients and not mess around in their bank accounts whenever they feel like it, your service level is pathetic just so you know if i were you i would look at bettering my service.
