Y property was damaged. I contaced ABSA insurance, stating clearly that the school next door will fix everyting, but that I needed to have the rest of the wall fixed as is it was very weak. ABSA sent out a contractor, NOT AN ASSESSOR and the next moment I got an sms from ABSA stating that the same contractor has been appointed to fix everything and that I must contact the contractor. The roof was quickly fixed, but the rubble was left right there. a Few days later, the wall was completely broken down by the contractor. It's now a week that nothing's happened. I cannot get hold of ABSA Insurance, I held on respectively for 13, 17 and 22 minutes. I got the runaround from other numbers that I tried. My property and family is unprotected, I cannot put any safety fence on, I am helpless, frustrated and beyond unhappy and dissatisfied with the lack of communication from ABSA insurance. They will ensure that I WILL BE CHANGING MY HOME LOAN to another bank.
