I was owing my bond after i lost my job. In January 2013, they told me to pay R1500.00 every month, for the next 12 months to clear my arrears. they said' Your monthly instalment to date is R884.00 Outstanding arrears as to date is R 7150.00" ok, I aggreed to the arrangements and created a debit order, It has been running since then to date. I send email today wanting to find out how far I've gone and have i cleard my areas because they aid 12 months I'll be on the clear. they tell me I still have R4869.82 excluding my monthly installments.
i was suprised to hear this cos it hasnt gone down from the january information. then they tell me that i owe legal fees.
i agreed on an arrangment to pay on 14 January 2013 and on 20 februalry 2013, they sent me summonds. I quiried why they did that while I was paying, they never respondde. now I get to hear that I owe legal fees thats why my areas havent gone down.
I ask why they handed me over to the lawyers while I'm paying, then they say they have other people to assist, they cant spend the whole day with me.
i want them to remove the legal charges becouse they shouldnt have handed me over to the lawyers while I was paying
