Total lack of customer care and feedback

At the beginning of November 2013 I applied for a student loan for my daughter. After submitting all the documentation with the banker at Carlswold Nedbank in Midrand, we were told it would take 2 to 3 days for a response from the loans department. It is now the 6 December 2013 and the process is still not complete. My problem is that nobody contacted me regarding any hold ups, I had to continually phone the bank to check on the progress. Each time i queried the progress i was told that the loans dept was missing documentation. I eventually got the manager at Carlswold to look into it and was told that a new system had been implemented at the loans dept and nobody knew how to operate it. The loan was eventually approve on the 29/11. Today I once again had to query what was going on as the university had still not been paid, only to be told that there was 1 place my daughter still had to sign. HOW can it take a whole week to find that out. WHY wasn't that picked up while we were signing it the first time. THIS IS TOTALLY PATHETIC SERVICE!!!
