Temporal loan

Two weeks back i received an sms saying my loan was not paid in July, which to my surprise i bank with FNB how can i miss a loan payment when my salary goes straight into their account. Told them to take the money end of November which the did but 3 days later i received an sms that my loan was in arrears, i immediately called the number on the sms and was told no my loan is up to date, i do not owe anything it was a mistake from the IT Department.

Now my issue is before i used to be able to get a temporal loan which now i am unable to get, could this be because my loan was in arrears since July without me being aware of the incident.
