I have been an Absa customer for quite some time now. I applied for a Home Loan and it took me almost 2 weeks to get an answer from Absa. I was not kept informed and besides now after this lengthy process that I have been through with them, I was only advised today that the Home Loan has been declined and that I can try another bank. Why couldn't they tell me that a week before than I would have gone to another bank? My offer to purchase will be expiring soon and then what? Absa will have to fix this mess because in the very first place, I had to call them! They did not keep me infornmed as per my consumer rights. I will be taking this matter further.
