I asked for my insurance with Absa AIP services to be cancelled on 30 November 2013 because I found cheaper insurance which offered me cover starting from 01 December 2013. Despite my polite request, AIP services went on to cancel my insurance with effect from 31 October which was against my request. On top of that they charged me R1, 060.00 premium for November 2013 which they didnt insure me for. If it was not for Hollard who sent me a letter stating that my insurance was cancelled in October I will be driving in November knowing that I'm covered when I was not.
To make matters worse they are refusing to reverse their premium for October telling me that their insurance is paid in arreas, HOW PATHETIC is that. At somce point I so wish I can just return their car and buy a car with another bank which understand the meaning of business ethics.
