Since April I have been trying to get the claim on my Windscreen sorted out. Glassfit messed up the installation of the windscreen and is refusing to sort it out. I have phoned Outsurance twice about this, and every time they tell me that they will get someone to give me a call, or they would sort it out. Nothing has happened, and no-one has gotten back to me.
I paid the excess on the repair, but it is still not repaired. In between the time that it got repaired, another crack has developed in the windscreen. This was a direct result of it having been fitted incorrectly. So I had to make a second claim for this. But no-one has come back to me about when this is now going to fixed.
Outsurance is sitting with a big problem with it's supplier Glassfit. And there seems to be no way in their system to track or handle these problems.
And the next thing is that I am now expected to pay another R750 excess.
The worst about this is that I have a windscreen that is bound to fall out at any time. And I have had this since April.
Come on guys, how about a bit of service!
