Dismal claim performance

My geyser at my home in Banbury Estate burst on Friday night, 27 September 2013, and was replaced by Mighty Plumbing. I submitted the invoice and a list of the resulting damages to our housing estate's insurance brokers (Nedbank Group Insurance Brokers) as advised by our body corporate.

It then took 6 weeks and a number of emails to Claude Weber to get a handyman out to assess the damage and do the the repairs.

To date (9 weeks later) the plumber has still not been paid. Surely this shouldn't take so long?

And surely an estate of 150 units would warrant a higher level of service?
