I recently broke down on the side of the road, waited 5hours to be towed to a mechanic, and then to be told by an assessor that SA Warratny wil not pay. Whilst at the mechanic the Assessor advised the Mechanic, that "they" are trying to get me off their books. He also stated that the vehicle had nitrous (which it doesnt). Today the assessor telle me the intercooler is not in the OEM location, which it is. however it is a generic cooler, as the original cooler was too expensive for the ex-owner to purchase. Now my car is in the garage, engine is stripped, and SA Warrantys will not accept responsiblity. The assesor confirms it is engine damage, however he is trying to find fault on other aspects on the vehicle. Which is the same as when i purchased it less than a year ago. The Service received from Basie is pathetic, he assumes without reason, statements are made without facts. And i find myself, the Client, the Customer, in deep water because there is no ownership and my car was asssessed by an individual who does not have the mechanical knowledge he should have! I am unhappy to the core, and still without a vehicle.
