I opened a cheque account with standard 1 yr ago. I took an overdraft of 5000 which i paid 4000. I then had financial issues and could not pay my account. I applied for debt review in May 2013. I told satndard bank and even took the letter the letter the debt counsellor gave to the bank. I spoke to their people who were calling and they asked for the debt reviewer's details i gave them everything they wanted. I am paying the debt counsellor every month. Standard bank never get back to me and told me the outcome. I went to the bank and explained my situation and they advised me to open another account which i did because Africa Bank kept taking money from my account. Recently standard bank just transferred money from my new account without informing me yet all this time they knew i am under debt review. this is totally unacceptable at least they should have told me and we could work out something. I need my money back its rent money. I believe they should have contacted me before going in my account and take my money. This is very bad i need this fixed as soon as possible. I spoke to their legal and they requested my lease agreement which i gave but i cant wait 5 days thats too fa
