I called Outsurance at -7:15 am this morning. I spoke to a lady named Caroline Mosterd in connection with the severe damage I have to my roof and glass after yesterdays hail storm in Krugersdorp. She assured me that a assessor will be sent over and a builder will be organised as my builder that came to look was not registered to their satisfaction. Low and behold no one shows up. My wife has repeatedly phoned them and ultimately went through to a manager called Daniel. Apparently I could have used my builder for this emergency but it was not communicated to me. She also conveyed to Daniel that should it rain again (which it looks like it will) there will be more damage. An assessor will only be sent next week. So till then we must accumulate damage. This is a shining example of where a company is glad to take your premium but not give you a service. If anyone at Outsurance is in the least interested to answer my complaint please do so. As Daniel does not answer his phone (I tried 9 times). My advice to others, Outsurance really does not bend over backward. The money you save being insured by them is not worth the agravation.
