I registered a claim re storm damage with ABSA on 2 May, they appointed a builder to come to my house to see the damage.
When I contacted the CC they informed me about the ceilings and a fibracrete wall that was damage - sorry no fibacrete wall on my premises.
I mentioned to the girl I want an assessor to contact me
A few days once past - nobody contacted me.
I phoned the CC again and they informed me - I can get my another quote - i did that and mailed it to the CC.
Know i was informed that an assessor will come out to have a look. Because the builder requested that.
Strange the same "ABSA builder" that claimed for wall.
So why did i wast my time and the time of another builder, if they are going to send an assessor.
According to the CC the assessor will contact me ASAP - well a few hours down the drain and still no phone call,
WOW why do I pay home Insurance.
This just show - i must move to SANTAM
