I made a payment to Skrill/Moneybookers for online shopping purposes. After being unable to do transactions through Skrill AND unable to withdraw my money from them, I checked my Capitec account and saw that (luckily) the payment to them hasn't gone through yet. I immediately called the Capitec call centre to stop the payment to Skrill. I was put on hold, but could hear the confusion in the background. The operator obviously had NO clue what to do. I was then told that the matter would be forwarded to Admin, or alternatively, I could go to the nearest branch to take the matter further. Well, it is now 24 hrs later and the payment has still not been stopped. Surely one phones the call centre in case of emergency to get immediate resolution, especially with stopping payments!
