It's a known fact - Std Bank does not offer PayPal. When you complain about that and ask why, they give you a nice little description of what PayPal is. I mean, helloooooo??? Anybody home??? Yes, dear, I know what PayPal is, I want to know why Standard Bank is so far behind the times that they don't offer it and why all Std Bank staff are clueless about it's very existence!!!
So we have to use Skrill instead. Never having used it before, I inadvertently put the incorrect ref no when I did the transfer OF R200!! (Deliberately chose a small amount to tests if it works!) Now the money is lying in the Skrill account (note ALSO STD BANK!!!), unable to be transferred because the ref no is wrong. What can we do? Cancel the transfer (which will cost me R250 - for a transfer of R200???). Seems it's not possible for them to simply correct the ref no and let the money appear in the correct Skrill account. That move is simply beyond their brain power (or above their pay grade?), or is Std Bank so desperately in need of my paltry R200 that they are deliberately acting as if they're brain dead and can't understand the simple instruction to CORRECT THE REFERENCE NUMBER!!!???
