Today I went to Cascades PMB Branch to renew my expiring Debit Card after a received an SMS to go to a branch (the SMS did not ask me to bring anything with me) - Orashni the consultant requested my ID (Which I did not have) I provided her with a certified copy and my drivers and told her I had provided it to FNB before (I also have a Wesbank HP account). She then asked me for my existing card. She then informed me she could not assist without a letter from my employer confirming my address. I came back to the office to get the letter and went back to her. She then changed her mind and would not assist with my original ID! Please can a manger teach your consultants to be friendly and assist clients - she acted like she was doing me a favour yet had not helped at ALL. I feel that the Cascades branch is extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. I still have not sorted out the query and do not feel I should have to deal with them EVER AGAIN - - so please whoever is thinking about opening an FNB account DONT! I have been with them for 10 years and not once have i had a pleasant experiance. Only problems.
