Standard Bank
Spam spam even if you disguise it

I received a telephone call from Samantha Pillay (I think that was her name) this morning at 09h18. She said she was calling to confirm a payment made on my credit card to Rwandair. This payment was done 6 days ago, so I was a bit surprised that it was only being followed up now, but I confirmed the purchase thinking that it was just a routine security call.

THEN, she stared asking me about travel insurance... It became clear that this was simply a marketing call masquerading as a security call. It is quite clear that your credit card division handed over my details to your insurance division, and that they are contacting people on an unsolicited basis.

I am sick an tired of being harassed by you. I have instructed Standard Bank on numeorous occasions that I NEVER want unsolicited correspondence, and yet I received an SMS on 25th November advertising some or other offer... with the option to UNSUBSCRIBE.

HOW DARE YOU expect me to PAY to stop you harassing me!!!

I hereby notify Standard Bank in public that if I receive any unsolicited communications of any sort from them, I will be billing the bank for my time and any other expenses I incur while attending to the matter.
