LET ME START OFF BY SAYING STANDARD BANK CREDIT CARD DIVISION IS THE WORST IN THE WORLD - 1ST OR 3RD WORLD, BY ANY STANDARDS, YOURS ARE THE LOWEST. I DESPISE STANDARD BANK CREDIT CARD DIVISION.
A RENEWAL CARD WAS APPARENTLY SENT TO MY BRANCH (CONSTANTIA CAPE TOWN) IN OCTOBER/NOVEMBER LAST YEAR. TOO MUCH EFFORT FOR ANYONE AT MY BRANCH TO CALL AND ADVISE ME THE CARD WAS THERE, THEY RATHER JUST SENT IT BACK.
SO 2013 STARTED WITH A CALL FROM CARD DIVISION TO TELL ME MY CARD HAD BEEN RETURNED (CHEEK!!) AND THAT THEY WERE SENDING IT BACK TO MY BRANCH (CONSTANTIA) AND WOULD CALL ME WITHIN 2 DAYS TO CONFIRM DELIVERY.
THAT WAS 2 WEEKS AGO AND SURPRISE SURPRISE NOT A WORD HAS BEEN HEARD FROM THEM!

PRESUMABLY NO PHONES WORKING AND NO-ONE TRAINED TO MAKE THE CALL!
HOWEVER, THEY ARE VERY QUICK TO CHARGE ME FOR A CARD I DO NOT HAVE AND TO KEEP MAKING HARRASSING PHONE CALLS (SPAM/DIRECT MARKETING) TO ME AFTER HOURS TO SELL INSURANCE ON NON-EXISTENT CARD, OR TO TELL ME TO UPGRADE THE NON-EXISTENT CARD!

STANDARD BANK TAKE YOUR STUPID CARD AND SHOVE IT!! I DONT NEED IT AND I CERTAINLY DONT NEED U IN MY LIFE. AM MAKING ARRANGEMENTS TO CHANGE ALL MY ACCOUNTS TO ANOTHER BANK.
NO-ONE COULD BE WORSE!
