I went to the branch to replace my postal address with the residential address.
They tell me that it has been done, but when we check on their system, it still shows my postal address.
The staff then tell me it is an IT problem and they will resolve and get back to me. I was at the branch on the 18 November 2013. To this date there has been no confirmation from the bank.
I even filled in a customer complaint form, number 468996, still no communication from Standard bank.
In my view, the staff were incompetent and definitely require training. If the branch manager was present at the time, surely he / she should have assisted his staff.
