Changing the physical address with a staff member at the Westgate Branch 29 Jun as I have moved and need to update the details. Upon change, I was advised that they will e-mail the change to me. Unbekowning to me, this would only be the next billing cycle and not the next week as I was made to believe. This was conveyed to me by a very enquiries person at the Rosebank branch. Upon receiving my statement from Standard Bank 17 Jul, the physical address was still not changed and the postal address still showing. On contacting customer services, I now have to wait for the next billing cycle due to a system error. Not good enough. I pay you banking fees, and expect a letter confirming my new address. They mess up but I am made to wait.
