Done an online application for a Samsung Tablet on 20 November 2013, at about 07h20. Called FNB on 21 November to find out what the outcome was, they responded in saying it will take 24h - 48h to notify me. I called them again on the 22nd of November, more than 48h later. They still couldn't say weather the application was approved or not. The matter was apparently escalated to management so I could receive an urgent answer. On the 25th of November I called them again after not receiving any feedback from FNB. They now say the application was only done on the 21st which was a Thursday, so 48h would be 48 working hours counting Friday and Monday, so today Monday the 25th of November 2013 has only been 48h according to them and I should receive an answer from today onward. If this is the kind of service they give their gold cheque account holders, I think Steve should stay with beep bank, he'll be better off there. I now asked them to please cancel the application so I can get a smart device from a cellular company which will give me far better service.
