Smart device application?? how about Not-so-smart

On the 14th may 2013 my husband applied on FNB online for the white iphone 5 16GB. We got a sms the next day saying thanks for your application, it''s been received, we busy with it and will be in touch. When we had not heard anything, we phoned on Monday 20th may for follow up, the consultant my husband phoned said that we should wait until we get an email or another sms, but the application is currently being scored etc. Still we heard nothing, so this morning we phone to follow up 24 May 2013 and they tell us that we have no smart device application, and none was made. So what the happens to you taking the time online to apply and then it's ten days later and NO JOY. So the consultant now says, she'll do the application over the phone, but it wil lbe another 10 working days before feedback. What the!!! Most innovative bank? I wonder who really voted that.
