How can you help me?

My maid has just had her entire months salary cleared out of her bank account while she was at my house working with her bank card in her handbag. As soon as she received notification of a withdrawal she immediately phoned the bank, but by that stage a further 2 withdrawals had been made. She was advised to go to the bank to fill in an affidavit which we did immediately. All of this was done in 30 minutes.

Yet we have just been informed that it takes 6 weeks for money removed to be recovered and returned. I am sorry but this is unacceptable. How can you expect someone to survive a month without their salary. Your bank adverts always lead the listener to believe that you really care about your customers. YET they are left alone to "make their own plan" when something like this happens.

Either you have a ridiculous amount of and are not making sufficient efforts to improve the security of your operations or you are taking your time in doing an investigation into the matter. 6 weeks is excessive.

I do not have enough money to cover my own living expenses and another R4000 to cover the amount for someone else. You can help me by resolving this pronto
