Absa does it again

On the morning of 21st of November, and please take note that it is month end for some employees, I tried to access my internetbanking in order to do payments. A security hold message popped up, informing me that is a security-warning on my banking due to the fact that they notice that I did a cellphone simswap and that there will be a hold on my account for the next 36 hours. I phoned the call centre and spoke to Julie who informed me that the system randomly pick a few absa clients to test their new product and that there is nothing we can do about it. Firstly, this is a business account and we NEED to do Payments! Secondly interest will be charges on my Ekurheleni accounts for late payment! who will take responsibility for this? Maybe if ABSA informed their clients about this, provision could have been arrange to settle accounts earlier. I was told to go my branch to do the payments personally... Really? The reason for having Internet banking is to save time, especially when you have your own business, and paying accounts in the convenience of your own office. This is so unacceptable!!!
