At 19:30 on Wednesday the 20th November 2013, I withdrew R2000.00 from the Standard Bank ATM @ the Bright Water Commons Caltex on Republic road in Ferndale. The ATM issued me with a R100 note that is torn and part of the note is missing.
I used my RMB Visa card for this transaction and prior to completing the transaction, the ATM asks you if you want a receipt or not, to which I responded 'No'. Hence I do not have proof of the transaction.
I contacted Standard Bank and spoke to a Christina (C544876), who said she could only log queries against Standard Bank accounts and not that of other banks and that I should contact RMB to have the issue resolved. RMB do not load cash into Standard Bank ATM's!! WHy is Standard Banks' up RMB's problem?
Christina wasn't helpful in the slightest and also refused to give me her surname.
Please Standard Bank, how do I resolve an issue with YOUR ATM when using another banks VISA card in YOUR device?
Why is torn notes and or sticky taped notes loaded into ATM's?
