I have financed a vehicle through Honda Finance a division of Wesbank. My circumstances have changed somewhat and it is really going tight every month. I have never defaulted on a payment. Today I went to see a financial advisor and she recommended I start with the vehicle installments as this was my biggest killer every month. She told me that given my situation I can ask for a interest rate drop. When i phoned Honda finance I didn't even stand a chance. 2 call center agents where so rude and unhelpful that I couldn't even get a word in, and all they kept saying was that my contract was legally binding and the only option was to re-finance the vehicle. No compassion, no willingness to listen or advise properly!
