This home loan application has been a subject to a long list of non-delivery issues from the start, but my main issue now is that we accepted Nedbank's quote on 20 August 2013 and still have not been contacted by the bond registration attorneys.
I finally received a response to my numerous follow ups on 17 Oct, saying that Home Loans needed a NHBRC warranty certificate. As the construction underway is a renovation and not a new build, NHBRC involvement is not required. I responded with this explanation to my private banker on the same day, and have had no further update, despite having followed up (again!).
I'm not sure where the fault - with Home Loans or my private banker - but I'm sick and tired of just being left hanging and having to follow up over and over again. I need this matter to be resolved before the end of this week or I will be taking my business elsewhere.
So much for getting better service as a Private Banking client - this is the worst service I've ever experienced!
