My laptop was from my car. My insurance initially rejected the claim as they said there was no sign of forced entry. Thankfully I had a video of the to prove it was actually (the theif had a device to block my immobiliser, it's called a key-jammer I think). I delivered a copy of the CD showing the (it was captured on a surveillance camera) to the insurance company. A week plus passed. I phoned to enquire and finally someone returned my call to say they are viewing the recording and will get back to me. Two weeks have now passed. I have called them almost everyday and gotten nowhere. If they are going to reject the claim at least they could provide some customer service while doing so versus being irresponsive and leaving me in limbo. Why is it when you're giving them money (taken out PROMPTLY no later than promised) they are present but when you actually need something from them they are nowhere to be found. I'm changing my insurance faster than you can say 'budget' but I still demand some customer service, I am after all their paying customer.
