My car got broken in to, they call it "remote jamming". My laptop was out of the cars boot. I phoned Budget to lodge a claim, went to the police and got a case number.
Spoke to a helpful man called Danie. After lodging the claim I got informed that my claim will not be approved due to the fact that my car is not damaged / shows that it was broken into. I ask you,!!! So it means that they would rather pay more to fix damages to my car and pay the claim rather than ONLY paying the claim. I spoke to a woman called Terry, she told me it's in my terms and condition booklet. She also stated that "remote jamming / car jamming" are becoming a BIG / HUGE problem for a lot of their customers but they are NOT prepared to help.
Well, CHANGE the policy!!! I and as other costumers are paying every month money hoping that if something happens we will be covered. Well it seems not to be the case.
They always have loop holes to hide behind. I'm hoping some other insurance reeds this and phones me with a better offer and cover.
I am so DISAPPOINTED in Budget Insurance, first claim ever and NOT a happy camper.
PS: the laptop was a specified item.
