Several weeks ago my house was broken into.
On that day I phoned budget I was told I would be contacted in a couple days in order to finalize the claim. Needless to say I never received that phone call. I attempted to contact budget and after being bounced around from person to person I was finally told they had lost my claim and I would have to start the process again forcing me to relive that painful experience. In a time of need when you would expect an insurance company to live up to the promises it makes in adverts they don't follow though.
I have not been able to restart the claim process as an operator named florence has been dodging my calls.
I found budgets handling of this matter to be ignominious. I am utter sure the only response I will receive is that my complaint has been escalated to management however nothing will be done. A business such as short term insurance should insure great customer service. Budget should dismiss anyone who dealt with this claim as now there is one less customer on the books and with employees such as the ones I dealt with they will surely lose more soon.
