Incompetent Bank & Don't Care Attitude of Staff

Sometime ago I purchased a business, paid a 50% cash deposit and was required to take a second bond as collateral on my pvt property in order to secure a loan for the other 50%. On selling the business and closing the accounts approximately two years ago, I was assured by the banking official that the bank will cancel the collateral/ second bond. In March this year I again approached the bank regarding the final statements (tax) and again raised the issue and I was re-assured that the bank will cancel the collateral.

Guess what - I have since sold my property, the attorneys are ready to submit the transfer documentation and Standard Bank officials have been sending me from the one section to the next without any resolve. You are not given an opportunity to escalate a complaint, The "system" according to their words, are dealing with the problem. Nobody cares, because the "system " is the guilty party. The bank's slogan "How can we move your banking forward" is a fallacy. The banking officials are good people with a don't care attitude. I am losing money, have to pay two bonds, have a huge overdraft, but they don't care because the system will do the job. The system is FLAWED!!!
