I am in the process of selling a property. My transferring attorneys, on 22 October (confirmed by Standard Bank) requested bond cancellation figures from Standard Bank. Still waiting. When I called Standard Bank on Friday 1 November, the lady (Zwelisa, reference 7000238422) said that bond cancellation figures take UP to 3 days to provide to attorneys. And apparently, on 28 October (more than the "up to 3 days"), this information had been sent to my transferring attorneys.
To date they have not received it. I called Standard Bank dispute resolution centre (0860101101), and asked for Deon as I had dealt with him previously on another complaint. He gave me a tracking number, but this number does not exist on the post office, nor on the speed services tracking system. I sent Deon an e-mail on Friday afternoon, and another e-mail this morning, he hasn't responded, I tried calling him, a Praveen Singh said that his phone is just ringing.
WHO AT STANDARD BANK CAN HELP ME? I AM LOSING MONEY BECAUSE THE TRANSFER IS BEING DELAYED WHILST THE PROPERTY IS LYING EMPTY.
