After SARS requested the Installment Agreement for a purchase we made, they discovered that the information on the Agreement did not match the supplier inv. The "Podium" that the bank sent the supplier reflecting exactly what their requirements were, was adehered to by the supplier. However the 2 docs from STD Bank are not the same. I called Vehicle & Asset Finance 2 weeks ago and was told to go to a branch, they can help. They in turn told me to deal with the Call Centre directly. After very many phone calls to follow up I was finally told on Fri last week that within 2-3 working days I would have the amendment as requested. Was even given a new ref no as confirmation. I have now been told that I must deal with my Bank Broker as they can assist. Nothing has been done. Nobody is taking accountability for the mishap made by the bank nor taking the initiative to assist. I have been sent from pillar to post and told anything to get me off the phone. What ever happened to customer service? Needless to say SARS is still waiting for the documentation and are extremely frustrated as am I. The resolution of this matter is EXTREMELY urgent. Where to from here?
