I HAVE REQUESTED TO CLOSE MY ACCOUNT AFTER THIS PATHETIC EXPERIENCE. CALLED THE CALL CENTER, CONSULTANT SHIMIZE ADVISED THAT THERE'S A BALANCE OWING, I EXPLAINED THAT THE ACCOUNT HAS BEEN PAID UP, DID NOT RECEIVE A CARD REPLACEMENT SINCE FEB 2013. CONSULTANT ADVISED ITS CARD FEE, CARD NOT USED, FEE WILL BE REVERSED AND ACCOUNT CLOSED. PUT ME ON HOLD, THERE'S NO BACKGROUND MUSIC OR ANYTHING, IT GOES DEAD, TO THE POINT YOU NOT SURE IF YOU CUT OFF OR STILL ON HOLD. CALL BACK, CONSULTANT SHANTAL, SHE GIVES ME DIFFERENT INFO, REQUESTS ME TO SPEAK TO SHIMIZE, PUTS ME ON HOLD FOR MORE THAN 20MIN, WASTING MORE OF MY TIME, NOT SURE IF I AM CUT OFF OR PHONE IS DEAD, CALL BACK TO SPEAK TO A MANGER, CONSULTANT ISFAQUK TOOK MY DETAILS, WILL ASK TEAM LEADER GENEWIES PIETER TO CONTACT ME OR THE MANAGER ELIJAH WESTMECOT, HE DID NOT KNOW THE EMAIL ADDRESS OF THE MANAGER, WANTS TO PUT ME ON HOLD AGAIN! ASKED HIM TO ASK THEM TO CONTACT THEIR CLIENT, HAVE SOME BUSINESS VALUES! WOW STANDARD BANK! WILL TELL THIS TO EVERY PERSON I MEET, ALL MY STATUS MESSAGES, BROADCAST THE UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF EMPLOYED THAT'S NOT TRAINED TO KNOW WHY, CUSTOMERS ARE MOST IMPORTANT IS THIS SERVICE INDUSTRY!!!
