Very dissapointed client

I have been making calls to the call centre (0860 123 000) where I have to hold for at least 20 to 30 minutes and still there is no answer, I honesty think that this is very ridiculous. I have called other banks and I never have to wait so long for a consultant to be avail. I suggest that Standard Bank put a proper procedure in place or else clients will be forced to bank else where, I also sent an email asking for someone to call and still no response.
customer care at Standard bank is pathetic. I also received a call from the call centre saying that I qualify for a credit card. We spend like 15min doing the credit app. Then I was told that I will receive my card after 14 working days. When I did call to check if all is on track, the consultant says that they don't see any applications allocated to my account such time wasters.
