I am in need of urgent cash to pay some bills and decided to draw from my three Unit Trust accounts.
My irritation is this, why can this transaction be done online? I have wasted work hours to get to your nearest branch to me. Once at the bank, there are no consultants on duty but just one teller and one lady at the enquiry desk. Because I needed to draw from three different Unit Trust accounts, forms need to be completed but what a lot of duplication.
The lady that dealt with me was very professional and efficient but I am sure that she sensed my displeasure at: 1) the lack of staff in the branch, 2) the unnecessary wait 3) the duplication on the forms and 4) my inability top do these transactions online.
Come on Standard Bank. I have been your loyal client for years but you need to get with the programme. Give us the ability to complete these transactions online.
