A few months ago, I started receiving SMS'es from Standard Bank (source 2784000151910045) that looked like account activity SMS'es. I am NOT a Standard Bank customer. I phoned their call center (0860 123 000) to check whether my identity's been. This made the SMS'es go away for a few months.
This week, they came back. I'm receiving them at 1 per minute. I phoned yesterday and spent 5 minutes on hold to be told that they'll have to escalate the problem. I refuse to pay more money to phone THEM in order to fix their problem. I'm almost ready to open up a case of harassment at the nearest police station.
I'm happy I'm not a Standard Bank customer if their system is this broken.
