I took out a service plan in Oct/Nov 2011. The plan was supposed to cover me until 75000km. My first service was 31/01/2012. this year January I did not reach my 60000 and didn't take it for service. I was under the impression that I can only take it when I've reached 60000. I was then phoned by Meyers Motors (March 2013) and told that whichever one comes first (kilo's or annually) I have to bring in the car. I made a booking and took the car in 02/04/2013. My kilo's was 56000 (estimate). Upon fetching my car I was told that they've done the 75000 service. Because I didn't understand much about this mileage and stuff I just left without asking questions. Today, I've phoned your customer service and asked about this 75000 service thing. I was told that because of the age of my car, that indeed Meyers Motors was right to do the 75000km service. Why was I not told about this when you sold me the product? I've then decided to extend my service plan, only to find out that I am now liable to pay 2 premiums!! The one where the service was done even though my car is still not on 75000 (right now it is only 62000 - estimate). this is unacceptable. i'm not paying 2 premiums!!!
