On 22-07-2013 my vehicle was damaged in an accident. It was still drive-able and I kept the vehicle until the panalbeaters informed me that ALL the parts were there and they are ready to repair the vehicle. I handed the vehicle over on 01-08-2013 for repairs. The panel beaters told me the repairs would take about 10 working days. After 10 days and up to now they are still "waiting for spares"
Excuses that the supplier moved warehouse... this was the last week in October, what happened before that? The panel beaters (YEBO PANALBEATERS in Kimberley 053-8411975) wasn't my choice and the insurance refer me to them. According to panalbeaters the insurance ordered the spare parts.
I explained my situation to the insurance that I need transport-their reply is that I am not insured for a rental vehicle. Since the ordering of spare parts was the insurance/panalbeaters fault, an as a direct result the delay, I think it would be fair of them to supply me with alternate transport in the meantime.
