Money transfer lost???

Did a transfer from my cheque account to my loan account at a ATM with a pre-set beneficiary. R2000 out of my account but lost somewhere in the system. Not reflecting on my loan account. Phoned callcentre and loan dept. and nobody can tell me where the money went??? i want it back! should i phone ombudsman?
