No one knows how to rectify the problem

I made a temporary loan on the 14th Feb. The terms and conditions specified that when money is paid into my account the temporary loan amount will be automatically deducted from my account.

Yesterday a cheque was paid into my account, today they took the money off for the loan. The problem is their wasn't enough funds available in my account because A CHEQUE TAKES 7 WORKING DAYS TO CLEAR!!

Some incompetent individual decided this was clever.

I live in Johannesburg and am currently in Phalaborwa with an overdrawn account and no petrol in my car to get home. I now have to transfer money from my savings to get home.

I called Jules Koopman at the Premier Suite at 12h20 today. he said he will get back to me in a few minutes. Its now 14h15 and still waiting. I have called 3 times since left messages to call me back but to no avail.

It seems like FNB is growing too fast to provide the neccesary service.
